YLI 25-26 Downtown Tour

Description

YLI students will be completing a walking tour of downtown Des Moines to learn more about the history of the city and figures that were integral to creating the city we live in today. Families are encouraged to join their YLI students at this session. The 2-mile walking tour will feature stops at the Edna Griffin Building, the Equitable Building, the Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel, World Food Prize, Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge, and the Robert D. Ray Asian Garden. Parking vouchers for students and families will be provided by Lead DSM.
