Change happens. A lot. And if you want to thrive (and lead) through change, it starts with leading yourself. That’s why we invite you to join Adam Rich, Director of Organizational Development at Athene for an interactive workshop that will help you and your team connect to the psychology of change and learn how to embrace and overcome resistance to build resilience. Through a mix of storytelling, small-group discussion and a healthy dose of self-reflection, you’ll leave with a new respect for change – and, hopefully, some innovative ways to lead it!

Facilitator: Adam Rich, Director of Organizational Development, Athene

Adam Rich is the Director of Organizational Development at Athene, where he's responsible for building and managing Athene's leadership development and competency-based learning programs. Prior to his current role, he spent two years as an eLearning Designer with Athene's Insurance Operations team, focusing on developing and deploying technical eLearning content. Before joining Athene, Adam spent nine years at Nationwide Insurance, holding various roles in customer service, training delivery, training design and leadership. 

Adam was the 2024 President of the ATD Central Iowa chapter and just completed his third year as a project manager for Athene’s annual United Way campaign, helping raise over $7.5 million for United Way of Central Iowa. Outside of work, Adam has a passion for music and enjoys golf, soccer and all things Iowa State University. He currently lives in Waukee with his wife and daughter.
