  • Sponsor scholarships for two Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute participants, ensuring finances are never a barrier to community leadership development. 
  • Sponsor five Youth Leadership Initiative students to help them lead in their schools and communities through this tuition-free program.
  • Create the financial foundation for Lead DSM's new leadership series, launching in 2023, that will make leadership development accessible to more people in our community. 
  • Sponsor a scholarship for one Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute participant, ensuring finances are never a barrier to community leadership development.  
  • Cover one month of rent, allowing us to create engaging spaces for learning and ensuring our staff can do their best work. 
  • Sponsor one Youth Leadership Initiative student, preparing future community leaders through this tuition-free program.  
  • Create life-long relationships by supporting a meal for all participants in one of our three programs. 
  • Sponsor one scholarship for a Community Connect participant, ensuring finances are never a barrier to learning from mentors or leveraging purpose for community betterment. 
  • Keep our website up and running for one month to make possible a hub for leadership information, program updates, and donor engagement. 
  • Sponsor one day of learning for a participant in the tuition-free Youth Leadership Initiative, equipping high-potential high school students to lead change in Greater Des Moines. 
  • Provide a scholarship for a non-profit professional to participate in Lead DSM's new leadership series, ensuring those who support basic community needs can learn and grow.
  • Sponsor a Community Connect session day for one participant who is discovering their purpose for serving the community.  
  • Maintain Lead DSM's Vimeo site, making the Then. Now. When. Racial Equity Video Series available for free to anyone in Greater Des Moines. 
  • Thank you for supporting our vision of creating a thriving community for all by joining as an alumni member.
