Join fellow Lead DSM alumni for an exclusive tour of WesleyLife Meals on Wheels, a local organization playing a vital role in addressing food insecurity, social connection, and aging in our community. This in-person experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Meals on Wheels supports older adults through nutrition, volunteer engagement, and innovative approaches to food access.

During this two-hour afternoon event, you’ll:

  • Tour the meal preparation operations and learn how meals are planned, prepared, and delivered across the community
  • Explore volunteer engagement efforts, including opportunities that connect people across generations
  • Learn about hydroponic farming initiatives and how fresh, locally grown food is incorporated into programming
  • Hear from staff about the organization’s impact, partnerships, and evolving community needs

This tour provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of a critical community service, connect with leaders and volunteers doing meaningful work, and see how operational leadership, innovation, and compassion come together to support older adults. Whether you’re interested in nonprofit operations, food systems, volunteer engagement, or community well-being, this experience offers insight, connection, and perspective.
